This means we cannot take a book back simply because you changed your mind.

If your book arrives damaged or misprinted, or if it is the wrong one, we send you a new copy at no charge. If a replacement is not possible, we refund you.

Email us within 7 days of receiving your order, with your order number and photos.

Which orders are covered

This policy applies to orders placed directly on eskapad-books.com.

If you bought your book somewhere else (for example on TheBookEdition for France, or in a bookshop), that seller handles returns and refunds. Please contact them.

Change of mind and cancellation

A book printed on demand cannot be restocked or resold. We therefore do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for a change of mind or an ordering mistake (the wrong language or edition, for example). Please check the language of the book before you confirm your cart.

Want to cancel an order you have just placed? Email us right away at info@eskapad-books.com. If printing has not started, we cancel the order and refund you in full. Once printing has started, the order can no longer be cancelled.

Damaged, defective or wrong book

We replace your book at no charge in these cases:

the book was damaged in transit;

it has a manufacturing defect: missing, blank or out-of-order pages, faulty binding, illegible printing;

you received a different book or edition from the one you ordered.

To make a claim, email info@eskapad-books.com within 7 days of receiving your order, and include:

your order number;

a short description of the problem;

clear photos of the defect and, if the book was damaged in transit, of the packaging.

Keep the book and its packaging until your claim is settled. In most cases you do not need to send anything back. If our printer asks to inspect the copy, we refund your return postage.

If the 7 days have passed, email us anyway: we will do our best to find a solution.

Replacement, refund and timing

We reply to your message as quickly as we can, usually within 3 business days.

We then pass your claim to our printer, who checks the problem from your photos. This check can take a few days.

Once the claim is accepted, a new copy is printed and shipped at our expense, to the same address.

If a replacement is not possible, we refund the book and the shipping cost to the payment method used for the order. Depending on your bank, the amount appears on your account within 5 to 10 business days.

What is not a defect

Slight differences in colour, trim or binding from one copy to another: these are normal with print on demand.

Wear or damage that happens after delivery.

A typo in the text. Let us know and we will correct it for future printings.

A QR code does not work, or you think a puzzle contains a mistake? Email us and we will help you quickly.

Late or missing parcel

The delivery times shown at checkout are estimates. If your tracking has stopped updating, or if nothing has arrived 10 days after the estimated delivery date, email us without waiting. We investigate with the carrier and, if the parcel is lost, we send you a new copy or refund you.

If the parcel comes back to us because the address provided was incomplete or incorrect, the cost of reshipping is yours to pay.

Residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have 14 days after delivery to cancel your order without giving a reason. Email us within that period and we will give you the return address. Return postage is at your expense. We refund the book and the standard shipping cost within 14 days of receiving the book, which must reach us in good condition.

Your rights

This policy is in addition to the rights the law gives you and does not limit them in any way. In Quebec, the legal warranties set out in the Consumer Protection Act apply to all your purchases.

Contact us

For any question about an order, a return or a refund: info@eskapad-books.com.

["post-1643","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.2 -
